$175M project on busy Harrisburg street moves forward

A large project on North Cameron Street in Harrisburg is moving forward.

The Harrisburg Planning Commission recommended that a lot consolidation and land development plan be approved for the Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority, which plans to demolish existing structures and construct a new operations and maintenance facility for Rabbittransit with a temporary bus transfer center on-site at 901 N. Cameron St.

The 15-acre site includes 14 parcels on North Cameron, North Twelfth, Monroe, State, and North streets. There are eight buildings and several other structures across the site.
