Curfew begins Friday night for Harrisburg youth

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Beginning Friday night, parents in the capital city will face a fine if their kid is out and about downtown unsupervised after 11 p.m.

Mayor Wanda Williams said the city can no longer tolerate it.

It was just over a year ago that Harrisburg Bureau of Police Commissioner Thomas Carter said “Harrisburg will be a quiet city,” even if he had to “call in the SWAT team to walk around with an AR-15 strapped to them.”…
