HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — The deadline was supposed to be Friday, but people living in Harrisburg’s so-called Tent City along the Green Belt have a few more weeks to move.
After years of discussions, it was ultimately the expansion of I-83 that forced the encampment out. Residents there can relocate to a new property off Cameron Street, which is owned by a nonprofit called Amiracle4sure, by Aug. 31.
