Thirteen people have been charged in what authorities are describing as a “title-washing scheme” that spanned three counties, including Dauphin.
Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday announced the charges last week. The charges were filed in July in Dauphin County following a grand jury investigation.
The office said the organization was run by 42-year-old Anthony Emilio Troncoso of Mexico. It included a dozen other co-defendants. The group cleaned paper trails on vehicles attached to liens or loans by registering them in other states with fraudulent documentation, authorities said…
