Cumberland County man faces charges after allegedly stealing car he promised to fix

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — A Cumberland County man was arrested after he allegedly stole a car he promised to fix for the victim, according to police report.

Corey Sybert, 29, of Newville was arrested on Aug. 14 by Lower Paxton Township Police in Dauphin County.

On Aug. 5 at about 11:05 a.m., police were dispatched to a call from the victim who wanted to report a potential theft. Officers said she made the initial report about her vehicle being stolen on July 28 and identified Sybert as a suspect…
