The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Thursday announced that a person from out of state who visited Central Pennsylvania earlier this month was contagious with measles, creating the potential for exposure to others.
The visitor, who has since left Pennsylvania, visited Adams, Lancaster, York and Clearfield counties and was contagious between Aug. 4 and Aug.12, the health department said.
People may have been exposed to measles if they were in one of the following locations at the date and time indicated:
- Sapp Bros. Travel Center, 15196 Clearfield Shawville Highway, Clearfield: August 5, between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
- Farmhouse Restaurant at the Barn Resort, 75 Cunningham Rd., Gettysburg: August 7, between 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
- Hickory Falls Entertainment Center, 110 Hickory Lane, Hanover; August 7, between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
- Midway Mennonite Reception Center; 210 E Lexington Rd., Lititz; August 8 and 9 all day.
- Garber Mennonite Fellowship, 6082 Old Hanover Road, Spring Grove; August 10, between 8:30 a.m. and two hours after the conclusion of services.
