The Pennsylvania State Police in Troop L, which covers Berks, Lebanon, and Schuylkill Counties, announced they will be conducting enhanced enforcement efforts over the upcoming Labor Day weekend to ensure safe travel on local roadways.
According to Trooper First Class Ethan Brownback of Troop L, the initiative is part of a statewide push to promote highway safety during one of the busiest travel holidays of the year. The enforcement campaign will specifically target drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs, aggressive driving, speeding, tailgating, and seatbelt violations.
