After a cool start, the holiday weekend will heat up in central Pa.

A rare late-August cold snap is bringing unusually low temperatures and potential frost to parts of Pennsylvania, with morning temperatures dipping into the upper 30s and low 40s across the region.

A frost advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. Saturday for McKean and Potter counties.
