Plane hits deer while taking off at Carlisle Airport

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) — The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating after a deer was struck by a plane at the Carlisle Airport early Wednesday morning.

According to the FAA, a Piper PA28 was departing from the airport around 1:24 a.m. when it struck a deer during takeoff.
