Developer plans to convert former nurses’ residence in Dauphin County into 96-unit apartment building

A large Harrisburg redevelopment project is moving forward.

During Wednesday’s Harrisburg Planning Commission meeting, Montgomery County-based Pennmark Management Company presented a land development plan to convert a section of the former Polyclinic Hospital into a 96-unit apartment building with a commercial/community space on the first floor.

Pennmark is proposing to build the apartments in a former nurses’ residence with options for studios to three-bedroom apartments, ranging from 450 square feet to 1,154 square feet…
