COLUMBIA, Pa. (WHTM) — State and federal law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant Wednesday on the Lancaster County home of a man accused of possessing 14 explosives and prompting the evacuation of a community about an hour north.
According to the Lebanon County District Attorney’s Office, Pennsylvania State Police and the FBI executed a search warrant on the Columbia home of Timothy Sheaffer, 40, on Wednesday.

He is facing charges of weapons of mass destruction, risking a catastrophe and reckless endangerment.
Late Wednesday, law enforcement officers converged on the 600 block of Walnut Street and Avenue H in Columbia, in the area of Sheaffer’s address listed on court paperwork. Units included a State Police Forensic Services Unit from Troop L – Reading.
