Driver injured, removed from vehicle after traveling 300 ft into woods off I-83: officials

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Officials said one person was injured Monday morning after a car left the roadway and traveled 300 feet into the woods.

The crash happened around 10:34 a.m. in the area of mile marker 27-2 on I-83 northbound to find one person trapped inside the vehicle.

Officials had to use chain saws to remove trees, brush, and a fence that was blocking access to the vehicle…
