Coroner reveals cause of death for Millersburg teen found dead in river

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — The cause and manner of death for the Millersburg teenager who was sadly found dead in the Susquehanna River has been revealed by the coroner’s office.

William Peters III accidentally died from fresh water drowning, according to the Dauphin County Coroner.

His body was recovered on Thursday near the Millersburg Ferry after a widespread search that consisted of community members, Pennsylvania State Police, and other authorities…
