Harrisburg spends federal stimulus money on bonuses for 1st responders, blight removal

Harrisburg is still sitting on nearly half of the $47 million the city received in federal COVID-era relief funds, city council members were told last week, having spent a portion of the money on nearly-finished programs to tear down derelict buildings and trees, repair HVAC systems and fund homelessness assistance.
