YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — When five officers were shot and three of them killed on Wednesday, a local couple waited to find out if their grandson was among the injured or dead, 17 years after his father died in the line of duty himself.
“We didn’t know if Eli was one of the ones so it took us an hour and a half until we found out,” said David Reever, alongside his wife, Karen.
