Sweatshirt causes ride stoppage at Hersheypark’s ‘Wild Mouse’

HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) — Guests were helped off a ride at Hersheypark earlier today after a sweatshirt became lodged under a wheel.

This was on the Wild Mouse attraction at the Dauphin County park, a Hersheypark spokesperson confirmed to abc27 News.

Photos sent in by a viewer show riders being escorted off the ride.

“A guest riding the Wild Mouse attraction dropped a sweatshirt, which became lodged beneath the wheel of the ride vehicle,” the park said in a statement. “The ride’s safety systems operated as designed, bringing it to a controlled stop at a safe location.”…
