The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture announced the preservation of 2,079 acres of farmland on 24 farms across 14 counties, permanently protecting the land from future development.
The newly preserved farms are located in Adams, Berks, Blair, Chester, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Mifflin, Perry, Westmoreland, and York counties.
