HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — If you’re looking for a good read, you can find it at the Harrisburg Book Festival.
The festival, now in its 13th year, opened Wednesday by taking over Verbeke Street for its outdoor tent sale, which runs until Sunday. There, book lovers can sort through more than 30,000 books all priced at $1, $2 and $3.

“Even if you don’t want to come out to the giant tent, there’s definitely other stuff going on for the festival that people can check out,” said Rachel Bates, assistant manager at Midtown Scholar Books, which hosts the festival. “We have a big children’s day; there’s going to be face painting, bookmark making, stuff like that. We’re doing fun menu items in the cafe so you can bring a book friend and a coffee friend.”…
