‘People are afraid to go’: Fate of Lower Paxton’s fireworks show remains undetermined

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa (WHP) — The fate of the Lower Paxton Township fireworks show is still up in the air after a township meeting Tuesday night ended with no vote on the matter.

Residents previously filled out a survey to vote on whether or not the fireworks should stay or end permanently for the town’s July Fourth celebration after the past two years led to chaos and arrests.

Most of whom attended the meeting were there for one concern, the Koons Park fireworks. And while the board didn’t vote on anything, they got feedback from numerous people on both sides of the debate…
