One injured after car splits in two in Cumberland County

SILVER SPRING TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) — One person was hospitalized after a car was torn in half in Cumberland County on Thursday.

New Kingstown Fire Company says the crash occurred on Mulberry Drive near Woods Drive in Silver Spring Township, Cumberland County, on October 16.

Authorities arrived to find a vehicle that had struck a tree and was torn to pieces.

Crews say the driver was able to escape the vehicle by their own power and was transported to a nearby hospital by EMS. The patient’s condition is unknown…
