First responders recognized for life-saving effort in Dauphin County

HALIFAX, Pa. (WHTM) — Several first responders in upper Dauphin County were recognized this week for their efforts in saving a life.

The Halifax Area Ambulance and Rescue Association presented 12 responders with the Clinical Save Commendation Award, which honors EMS and public safety providers whose clinical excellence, teamwork, and swift intervention directly contributes to saving a patient’s life.

“This recognition highlights the professionalism and expertise of our EMS providers, volunteer firefighters, and members of the Pennsylvania State Police,” said Jackie Neiswender, Chief of Halifax Area Ambulance. “Their quick thinking and clinical excellence made a life-saving difference.
