KKK responds ahead of peace gathering planned in Mechanicsburg

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A church in Mechanicsburg is urging the community to say “no” to hate after a mother said her child received a K.K.K. recruitment card at the borough’s Halloween parade.

Mechanicsburg Presbyterian, along with other local churches and organizations are inviting the public to attend a “Hate Has No Home Here” gathering at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday on Railroad Avenue next to G-man in response to the news of the card.
