The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, 866-366-3723, uses a risk-based inspection reporting process for restaurants and other food handlers.
Shogun Fusion, 5125 Jonestown Rd. Unit 4b, Harrisburg, October 18. Pass. Non-food contact surfaces not cleaned at a frequency to preclude accumulation of dirt and soil. The gaskets on the two-door transparent slice refrigerator and the single-door refrigerator located in the kitchen near the mop washing area were observed to have accumulated dirt and were not clean, either visibly or to the touch. Plumbing system not maintained in good repair — the handwashing sink in the kitchen was observed leaking at the faucet. Unwrapped and unprotected single-use straws stored in the customer area. Plastic bottles without labels were observed, storage containers, in the kitchen area, is not labeled with the common name of the food. The screen protection door in the kitchen area of the food facility was deteriorated and had perimeter gaps, allowing potential entry of insects, rodents, and other animals. Food facility inspection indicates evidence of rodent activity in area includes the dishwashing station and dry storage for rice and sugar.
