Man allegedly writes bad check to pay for antiques

Lewisburg, Pa. — A Harrisburg man was charged for allegedly writing a bad check for more than $1,200 to a Lewisburg antiques mall.

Police say a check written by Michael Robe Robitaille, 43, did not clear due to insufficient funds.

Robitaille was at Roller Mills Antique Mall on Sept. 17 when he used a check to pay $1,254 for several sterling silver items. On Sept. 24, Roller Mills received notification from their bank that Robitaille’s check did not clear due to insufficient funds, according to the affidavit…
