Woman who tried to break into Dauphin County school, prompting police chase gets diversion

A woman who led police on a chase after trying to break into a Derry Township elementary school last year was accepted into a rehabilitation program that will allow the charges to be wiped from her criminal record.

Erica Dubose, 39, drove more than 100 miles from her Baltimore, Maryland, home to Derry Township on March 15, 2024, where she started yelling and pulling on the locked door of the township’s elementary school, police said in court documents filed at the time.
