Masked Man Arrested After Alleged Wawa Theft and Struggle With Police

LEVITTOWN, PA — A 34-year-old man is facing multiple charges after an early-morning incident at a Wawa store located at 225 Levittown Pkwy that police say began as a retail theft and ended with a brief struggle during his arrest.

According to the Tullytown Borough Police Department, officers were dispatched to the Wawa located at 225 Levittown Parkway around 3:29 a.m. on November 2 for a report of a theft in progress. Store employees told police that a man wearing a Halloween-style mask entered the store, took several food items, and left on foot without paying.

Officers searched the area and soon located a man, later identified as Tyrell Coleman, 34, of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, sitting in a wooded area near the store eating food believed to have been taken from Wawa. Police also observed a mask lying on the ground beside him…
