Former Steelton officer claims she was forced to work with K-9 that attacked her: lawsuit

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa (WHP) — A former police officer is suing the Steelton Police Department, its chief, and the borough’s mayor after the handling of an alleged dog attack within the department.

The suit was recently filed on Oct. 29, 2025 and claims former detective Dory Martin was at the police department’s gun range for annual qualifications on June 20 of 2022.
