You now need police to sign a form to take strays to Lebanon County humane society

LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — People who find stray animals in Lebanon must now get a police officer to fill out a form before they can surrender the animal to the humane society.

The Lebanon City Police Department said starting Monday, if residents find a stray animal, before taking it to the humane society they must have a police officer fill out a Humane Society Animal Drop-Off Authorization form.
