Terric Makye Seay Charged After 120 MPH Multi-County Chase

Terric Makye Seay, 23, allegedly stole a Ford Escape at gunpoint in York City around 11:18 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, according to the Lower Allen Township Police Department.

York City Police alerted surrounding agencies, advising that the suspect displayed a handgun before fleeing north on Interstate 83, authorities said.

High-Speed Pursuit Across Counties

Officers from Lower Allen Township spotted the stolen SUV near Simpson Ferry Road and attempted a traffic stop, but Seay refused to pull over, according to police. The pursuit reached speeds of over 120 miles per hour as Seay drove recklessly along I-83 North toward Harrisburg, investigators said.

As Seay tried to take the 13th Street exit, police said he lost control and crashed into a concrete barrier. Officers attempted a felony stop, but Seay ran from the wreckage, prompting a foot pursuit through traffic lanes before he was captured by Lower Allen Township, New Cumberland Borough, and West Shore Regional officers.

Gun Recovered, Charges Filed
