Harrisburg school aide accused of kicking non-verbal student completes diversionary program

A Harrisburg teacher’s aide who was accused of kicking a nonverbal student has completed a diversionary court program for first-time offenders, according to court documents.

Myrakle Stokes, 28, of Harrisburg, was permitted to enter the program to avoid prosecution on a single summary charge of harassment.

Stokes was accused in April of repeatedly kicking a 12-year-old at Linglestown Middle School Jan. 17 after the child kicked or tried to kick her, according to a citation filed by Lower Paxton Township police…
