Three injured after juvenile driver falls asleep, crashes vehicle into pole in Cumberland County

UPPER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) — A juvenile driver and two juvenile passengers were hospitalized after the driver fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a utility pole in Cumberland County early Sunday morning.

According to the Upper Allen Township Police Department, on November 16, at 5:54 a.m., authorities responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 1200 block of East Lisburn Road.

Upon investigation, authorities determined that the juvenile operator fell asleep while driving and struck a utility pole off the left side of the roadway.
