Remains of 17 Native American children returned to families

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) — The Carlisle Barracks announced that the U.S. Army has returned the remains of 17 Native American children to their families this year.

According to the Carlisle Barracks, the U.S. Army has officially finalized its eighth year of the Carlisle Barracks Disinterment Program and has returned the remains of 17 Native American children to their families.
