PERRY COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — An animal rescue organization, Castaway Critters, has revealed details of a severe animal neglect case in Marysville. Jessica Walton, a manager with the group, described the scene as a “health hazard,” with urine and feces covering the floors and dozens of neglected cats in dire conditions.
“I got 6 feet into the door and immediately dropped to my knees,” Walton said.
