Harrisburg man expected to testify against former codefendant accused of murder changes his mind

A Harrisburg man who was supposed to testify against his former codefendant got cold feet before he was scheduled to take the stand in Dauphin County court Thursday afternoon.

Marcus Stultz, 28, of Harrisburg, availed himself of his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination moments before he was scheduled to take the witness stand in the trial against Erick Boone.

Stultz and Boone were previously codefendants in a conjoined case accusing them of beating, robbing and later murdering 43-year-old Dewayne Brown. While police originally charged Stultz with murder, he’s only currently charged with robbery…
