It’s been a year since Imhotep Muhammad returned home from Dauphin County Prison after a jury acquitted him of the most serious charges that had him locked up for 26 months.
The scars from that time, both physical and mental, remain.
Thirty-six year old Muhammad was allowed outside one time during his time in DCP and he spent nearly 24 hours a day inside his cell as he awaited trial, unable to post bond, he said.
