Man charged after alleged violent break-in in York

YORK, Pa. — A man was arrested after allegedly forcing his way into a West Market Street residence during a fight and later being found with suspected drugs, according to police.

Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of W. Market St. around 7:50 p.m. Dec. 1 for a reported fight, according to an affidavit. Police said Mario Cedeno-Roman was found injured with blood on his hand and forehead. For safety, he was placed in a patrol vehicle while officers spoke with others at the scene, police said.

Police said Cedeno-Roman kicked in the door while looking for someone named “Eddie,” claiming he was owed $600. After entering, he allegedly damaged property and struck multiple people with pieces of a broken door frame. A total of five victims have been identified in the incident…
