HARRISBURG, Pa. — Capital Region Water this week issued a boil-water advisory for a portion of Harrisburg.
On Monday, the company said, there was “an unanticipated issue” with the water system on Aberdeen Street that led to a loss of positive water pressure, which “is a signal of conditions that could allow contamination to enter the distribution system through back-flow by back pressure or back-siphonage.”
As a result, CRW said, “there is an increased chance that the water may contain bacteria that can make you sick.”…
