Man wanted in summer Derry Township stabbing in prison, court records show

DERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) — A man who police said was wanted after allegedly stabbing two people in a Derry Township home earlier this year is in custody.

Online court records show Edward McDowell, 29, of York, was placed in Dauphin County Prison with bail set at $250,000 after he was arraigned Wednesday. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 16.

McDowell is accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend and another man in a home in the 600 block of Old West Chocolate Avenue in the Hershey area on Aug. 24.
