DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — State leaders are highlighting a new budget investment that they say will expand and support Pennsylvania’s child care workforce.
On Thursday, Department of Human Services Secretary Dr. Val Arkoosh visited Little Learners’ Child Development Center Academy in Harrisburg to celebrate the investment which she says will benefit the workforce while allowing families to access high-quality child care.
“We know that if parents don’t have a safe, secure place for their kids to be while they’re at work, they can’t go to work,” Arkoosh said. “It’s really hard to concentrate on your job if you’re worried that your kids aren’t safe.”…
