Homeless shelters prepare to open warming stations ahead of frigid winter weather

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Frigid temperatures are expected to hit South Central Pennsylvania over the next few days, prompting shelters to open warming stations for people struggling with homelessness.

Friday’s high temperatures are expected to hover in the 20’s, which would be the coldest since Feb.
