Judge’s daughter avoids trial in assault case by entering court program

A one-time Lebanon City Council candidate and daughter of a Lebanon magistrate judge has entered a diversionary court program to resolve allegations she assaulted someone in a local grocery store last summer, according to court documents.

It’s unclear if this resolution in Zaelys De’Arce’s case will allow her mother, Aurelis Figueroa, to continue hearing criminal cases.
