Harrisburg mayor hasn’t paid ethics fine that was due in October

The capital city’s mayor is 47 days past the deadline in paying a state ethics commission fine, after it found she wrongly used city dumpsters outside of her home to dispose of her personal trash.

Harrisburg Mayor Wanda Williams agreed to pay $912.70 after the commission said she would be found in violation of state ethics laws, if there was a hearing.

A spokesperson for the mayor said in an email that the mayor “was not given a deadline” and is waiting for “an official bill.”…
