HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHP) — City councilmembers are raising questions about a bill that would grant the mayor a $20,000 pay raise and councilmembers a $5,000 raise.
The bill in question, Bill 15 2025, was ultimately tabled at Tuesday’s council meeting, though another meeting about the city’s proposed 2026 budget is expected to take place Wednesday.
During Tuesday’s meeting, Business Administrator Samuel Sulkosky said the bill, which was put forth by the mayor, would affect all elected officials within the city.
