A York County jury has convicted a man of first-degree murder for opening fire at a crowded park and killing an innocent bystander during a gang-related shooting, the Pennsylvania Attorney General announced on Friday, Dec. 12.
Elijah Penn, now 21, was found guilty following a week-long trial in the 2021 killing of 20-year-old Justin Griffith at the basketball courts of Cousler Park in Manchester Township, according to the Attorney General’s Office.
