A dozen Starbucks employees were arrested while they were striking outside the coffee company’s largest distribution center in York County on Monday, according to Starbucks Workers United.
York County Regional police responded around noon to the picket line at the Starbucks York Distribution Center on Bartlett Drive in East Manchester Township, where 12 striking baristas and two supporters were arrested and cited.
Starbucks Workers United said that the protest, which included baristas primarily, began with more than 100 people around 7:30 a.m. at the distribution center’s main truck entrance and continued through the morning. The distribution center serves the entire Northeast region, Canada, and Europe…
