Cumberland County high school offers counseling after student’s suicide

A Cumberland County high school is offering counseling after a student died by suicide Wednesday night.

The school sent a notice to its families noting the death occurred late Wednesday night and that the “tragic loss of a student is difficult for our community.” The school did not release the manner of death. The coroner confirmed to PennLive the death of the 16-year-old male was ruled a suicide.
