Jeremy Pauley, the former Central Pa. resident accused of illegally buying and selling human remains, is set to be sentenced Monday

YORK, Pa. — Jeremy Pauley, the former Central Pennsylvania resident who has pleaded guilty to state and federal charges connected to his role in an interstate conspiracy to buy and sell human remains, did not end his macabre business after entering his pleas, federal prosecutors claim.

Instead, prosecutors wrote in a 41-page sentencing recommendation submitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, Pauley “chose to lean in” refusing to accept responsibility for his crimes.

Pauley and his partner opened another shop in Honesdale, Wayne County, where he “continues to make a living through buying and selling human remains,” according to prosecutors, who added he may once again be in possession of the bodies of dead babies…
