YORK, Pa. — Michelle and Steve Clark finalized the adoption of their daughter, Sadie-Jayne, on Nov. 11, 2025. Just weeks later, the couple traveled to bring her home and soon found themselves in the hospital with their four-year-old child in a Bulgarian intensive care unit.
“It’s hard watching her lay there and know that she’s in pain and we can’t do anything about it as her parents.” Michelle Clark said.
