LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Congressman Lloyd Smucker (PA-11) announced on Tuesday that he plans to run for reelection, representing Pennsylvania’s 11th Congressional District, including Lancaster and York counties.
Smucker’s campaign will prioritize restoring opportunity while strengthening families and ensuring the “American Dream” is still an option for American families, according to a news release.
Raised in Lancaster County as an “old order Amish,” Smucker’s path reflects the American Dream, the release noted. His parents agreed to let him attend an area high school on the condition that he pay his own tuition.
