One person dead after being struck by vehicle in Pennsylvania

PENNSYLVANIA — Pennsylvania State Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash Monday night in Perry County.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, troopers were called just after 9 p.m. to the intersection of Narrows Road and Royer Road in Miller Township after receiving a report of a person lying along the roadway.

When troopers arrived, they found the body of a 40-year-old woman. Police said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released, but investigators said she was from Newport, Pennsylvania…
